Sometimes not listening to the teacher could make you look like an imbecile. We had a translation test a while ago in Filipino. We were supposed to translate English idioms. I wasn’t clearly listening to the teacher and the result was disastrous! Instead of translating it from its meaning, I ended up translating it literally. Hence, I translated “You can’t teach old dogs new tricks.” into “hindi mo kayang turuan ng bagong kaalaman ang matandang aso.” instead of translating it to its proper term which is “Hindi mo na mababago ang nakasanayan na.” Here are other forms of stupidity:

Anyway, I can’t remember the other idioms. I know, it sounded so
stupid!! I’ll never forget this day. Forgive me for my sluggishness! I
can’t seem to find time to update my blog because as we all know
this week is hectic. The school year is about to end and the teachers
are making us work extra hard. Right now, I’m feeling so much
easier since I’m starting to finish all the workload by 70%. Whoa! I
can’t believe that the promenade is going to take place next week!
The excitement is heightened by 100%! The election for the CBS
officers is going to transpire tom. I already have my bets.Obviously,
I’ve been campaigning for EZ and Carlo a while ago. The two of
them is considered the best asset for the CBS. I’m also voting for
Ulrichk (it’s his birthday today. The best gift would be voting for
him! LOL) , Nathan, and Mark Ramos! I’m out of words! Don’t you
just hate it if it turns out that this is just a normal day?
