WHAT HAPPENED?
Thursday, June 16, 2005

When was the last time that you felt like you are falling in line to be executed by a firing squad? For me, I got to experience it several hours ago at the Barbershop. Yes, you read that right “ The Barbershop”! This is how it happened. I was going to get a haircut for the Citizen Advancement Training (Formerly known as Citizen Army Training). It was kind of unusual because the required haircut is 2x3, which is kind of high for my standards. You’d look like Charlie Chaplin if you walk around with this kind of haircut! Before I mustered up enough courage to cut my hair to fit the requirement, I literally called upon all the angels and saints in heaven to pray for a good look after the tragic 2x3 fiasco. At the end of the day, the Lord listened. It didn’t looked good nor did it look bad. It was just right. Just like the third porridge Goldilocks tasted. Anyway, I crammed tonight just to complete the requirements needed for CAT tomorrow. I wasn’t able to go to debate today because everybody knows about the extraction of my wisdom tooth. It’s nerve wrecking! It’s so painful. I’m restricted from eating hard to chew foods. Imagine me debating while having a swelling jaw. I love debate and no matter how I feel I’d still do what I want. As we all know, cell phones are not allowed in the campus. I have no choice but to leave it here at home. If there is one thing I hate it is people who browse my phone without asking permission. I left my phone in my bedroom only to find out that my mom took it from my bedroom to read my messages. I just came to that conclusion since there are new text messages which I haven’t read that were opened. Thus, I figured out that someone read my messages and the first suspect in my mind was my mom. She was guilty because the moment I rode the car the first thing she said was that I left my cell phone in my room. That statement gave me enough reason to point my finger at her. I just hate it when people invade my privacy. . I respect theirs why don’t they respect mine? Why is it so hard to earn respect these days? No matter how hard we try to respect other people they wouldn’t dare to do the same. My mobile phone is a sacred thing to me. That’s where I keep the message of people I have feelings for. One folder of my phone is filled with messages from my crush. I did save quotes from her. Aside from that I kept messages like “kumain k n b?” or any other messages as long as it came from her. I’m not really getting enough sleep because I feel really heavy-eyed in class. It’s such a struggle to stay awake! There are a lot of factors contributing to my lack of sleep. The biggest donors to my lack of sleep are assignments and not stop quizzes. I think there should be a limit with regard to giving out assignments and quizzes for each day.
